Lake Powell Adventure 2006

Over Thanksgiving of 2006, Erin Tatge and I went houseboating on Lake
Powell. The trip was led by my dad, Bill Priedhorsky; also along were my
stepmom, Melissa Bartlett, my little brother, Peter Priedhorsky, and a pile of
Los Alamos Mountaineers.
These trip report pages were written and organized by me. You can click on
captioned photos for a larger version, but be aware that large is frequently

Canyon. (Sunday, November 19.)
- Day 2. Motor to Camp II at Davis Gulch, with a midday
hike break at The Rincon. (Monday, November 20.)
- Day 3. Motor to Camp III off Pollywog Bench, then hike
up the slickrock. (Tuesday, November 21.)
- Day 4. Motor to Camp IV in Cottonwood Canyon, then motor
across the lake and hike Hole-In-The-Rock. (Wednesday, November 22.)
- Day 5. Hike Cottonwood Canyon, then eat Thanksgiving
dinner. (Thanksgiving Day, November 23.)
- Day 6. Morning dayhike, then motor to Camp V at the
Waterpocket Fold, then dayhike up the Fold. (Friday, November 24.)
- Day 7. Brief dayhike, then motor to Camp VI near the
marina. (Saturday, November 25.)
