John graduated from Macalester College, St. Paul, MN in 2001. He is currently employed by the Department of Animal Science at the University of Minnesota where he writes animal genome analysis software in FORTRAN and somehow manages to get paid for it. He has an office with a large window and an excellent view.
John drives a red 1991 Honda Civic hatchback with a leaky gas tank.

Reid also graduated from Macalester in 2001, and he works for Java and Web Services at the University of Minnesota (where no one knows Java). He is part of a team building an enourmous grant management system called EGMS and finds the whole process quite amusing.
