Reid Priedhorsky – Job Portfolio
This portfolio supplements the standard components of my faculty job search
applications with additional materials that further demonstrate who I am as a
scholar in computer science.
I welcome questions; please e-mail me at reid@umn.edu.
Research
- Publications with contribution summaries
and links to PDF fulltext.
- Sample peer reviews of
others’ papers that I have written.
- Cyclopath is a research geowiki
project which I co-founded and lead. (Link goes to the site itself.)
Note: The above pages are children of my research page; use your Back button to return

Teaching
- Selected student feedback.
- Sample syllabus: CSCI 1902:
Structure of Computer Programming II (PDF) – the syllabus I wrote
when I taught the course.
- Sample assignment: writeup
(PDF) and code handout
(tar.gz). Students implement and analyze hash tables and binary search trees
in the context of a simulated disk-bound database system. This was
Assignment 5 when I taught CSCI 1902.
- Sample exam (the final from CSCI
1902).
- Sample midterm teaching
evaluation form (PDF) that I wrote and have used in several
courses.
- Live copy of my course website from CSCI 1902
when I taught it in summer 2006. (Links to project solutions and to some
external resources, like the course forum, no longer work.)
